Join us this Saturday in Nicholas St. as we welcome the start of Spring with a bit of old Irish tradition. Grab a pint and settle in to weave your very own St. Brigid’s Cross, hosted by local Crafter Mary Hughes - supplying rushes harvested straight from the Bog.
St. Brigid isn’t just about crosses and holy wells, legend has it she was fond of the brewing too. Said to have brewed ale for feast days (and stretched a barrel or two when the crowd was gaspin'), she’s long been linked with hospitality, generosity and a tashty pint shared among friends. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?
No experience needed, plenty of chat, and something to bring home at the end of it!
